Does a chair require any maintenance?

A chair like any other office equipment requires regular preventive maintenance. This need is felt only when an employee complains of a backache (after all, how much time of his life does he spend on his chair) or grumbles about a squeaking chair or a chair is thrown aside just because a castor wheel is jammed/broken. A chair like any equipment is made up of moving parts, which are subject to normal wear & tear. A properly maintained chair can boost the productivity of an employee and a problematic chair will, for sure, hamper the productivity.

What is "ChairMain" all about?

"ChairMain" is an AMC for chairs. A service mechanic from Epsilon will visit your office and survey all the chairs. He then carries out the necessary maintenance & finally submits a report to the concerned person.

What type of maintenance does "ChairMain" include?

"ChairMain" includes:

• Free replacement of the broken / jammed castor wheel wherever required.
• Tightening/replacement of visible nuts & bolts.
• Oiling/Greasing of the moving parts of the chairs.
• Alignment of balance rod.
• Seat height & back recline adjustment according to the needs of the user.

What type of maintenance is not included in "ChairMain"?

"ChairMain" does not include any replacement / repairs other than item stated above, e.g., broken stand, bolt, armrest, plywood, changing of foam & fabric etc. However, all such repairs not included in "ChairMain" could be carried out at reasonable rates. The estimate for such repairs can be given to you when required.

What is the frequency?

A service mechanic from Epsilon Enterprise will visit the office every two months, however if need be, he could be called upon in between to attend to a specific problem in a chair.
